Getting Sizing Right

Upcycled garments come in all shapes and sizes, and from many different eras. You may have noticed that, even in today’s fashion industry, there is no standard size chart. Sizes vary greatly from one brand to another, and one decade to the next. If there was a marked size on a garment’s tag (and many of the tags have worn away or have disappeared over the years), the hot water used in the dying process may shrink items from the originally marked size.

I have created a standardized sizing system for my clothing. Please note, my sizing is gender neutral, so it may be different from what you usually purchase. Please refer to this chart and the measurements on each garment to get your sizing right.

I’ve included a short video below to help you get the best fit. Take a couple of moments to get your measurements and write them down to reference while you shop.

If you have any questions about a particular garment, use the chat icon to reach me, or drop me a message through the contact page. I'd be happy to help you determine if it's right for you. 💙
